Mark Stephenson is a consultant to the company and is assisting in the areas of Business Development, Marketing and Sales.  His background in both large corporations and numerous startups fits nicely with the growth strategies of PTG.  Mark is exploring growth strategies in new markets as well as expanding the target markets for PTG products outside California and in key international regions.

Prior to joining PTG, Mark headed up the Water Technology Group at PARC, a Xerox Company and also served as a Director of Business Development for all energy and related technologies.  He was instrumental in setting up multiple research projects in the area of water and solar in China, Korea and other parts of the world which ultimately lead to successful licenses of PARC technology.  Prior to PARC, Mark was an executive at various water technology startups in the Bay Area and VP of Sales and Marketing at Hach Company in Loveland, CO.

Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University in Bloomington.  He has raised over $100M in venture capital, government grants and licensing transactions over his career that have been instrumental in company success and growth.  When not working, Mark enjoys competitive tennis, hiking and international travel.
